Start here to troubleshoot common occurrences on campus!
- Double Check all the vents are open FULLY
- Check thermostat is set properly and adjust it accordingly
- Check to make sure the breaker has not tripped, if it has reset it
- If you are still not finding a solution, please submit a work order
- If you are in a residence hall talk to your RA about getting a portable fan until your problem is fixed
- Call the Custodial Hotline 970.208.6369
- There are bins available across campus, locate a recycling station at your nearest building
- If you have an excessive amount of recycling submit a work order for someone to come pick it up for you
- If overflowing excessively, please shut off the water at the base of the toilet near the wall so that it will not flood the room and cause any more damage.
- If clogged, DO NOT flush more than one time! If you can locate a plunger, please attempt to unclog it yourself before submitting a work order.
- If the dial is not turning the burner off, it may be on incorrectly so remove it and make sure it is on right.
- You could also try flipping the breaker.
- If you have tripped a breaker, try resetting it
- Still unsuccessful? Check to make sure you do not have too many things plugged into the same outlet or power strip.
- If you have made sure you do not have too many things plugged in to one outlet and it is still not working, please submit a work order.
- If your outlet is not working, this could be related to a tripped breaker, in that case try resetting the breaker
- Still not working? Try to reset the outlet itself, there should be a ‘reset’ button on the outlet
- If you are still experiencing problems, submit a work order
