Sending Accommodations - Updated 8/6/24

Each semester, students will need to send approved accommodations to professors for each class the student wishes to receive accommodations in. Follow the steps below to send accommodations:

  1. Once logged into AIM, you will select Add Requests for courses under your Accommodation Requests on your AIM dashboard.
    • If there are no courses listed please contact the EAS office
    • If it is your first time logging into AIM you will need to sign any required forms on your dashboard (a copy of the forms will be emailed to you)
  2. Under 'Accommodation Requests' select the box for each of the courses you wish to use your accommodations in.
    • If a course is not listed after just being added, please give the system at least 24 hours to update before trying again.
  3. You will select the button 'Continue to Next Step'
  4. Select the accommodations you want to use in each class or 'Select All'.
    • Note, Testing Accommodations must now be selected individually.
  5. Check the box saying "I am authorizing my approved accommodations to be sent..." and select 'Submit Request'
  6. EAS will email your Faculty Accommodation Memo to your professor(s). The email to faculty will be sent as close to the class start date as possible or as soon as the student's request is received. After it is sent (which can take up to 48 hours), you can view a copy of your letter in "My Mailbox"
