TRIO Grant Aid 

TRIO-SSS Grant Aid is a financial award available to eligible TRIO participants through a grant from the U.S. Department of Education.

To qualify for grant aid you must:
  • Be a full participant and active in the TRIO program
  • Qualify and receive the Pell Grant
  • Have unmet financial need or have taken out loans

Participants in their first of second year of college will have priority over those in their third or higher year, though all are welcome to apply.

First Generation Student Club

The mission of the First-Generation Student Club is to connect first-gen students on campus to one another. This club will foster conversations between students that exchange ideas, form friendships, provide a community of support to like-minded individuals, and help students take pride in the fact that they are first in their family to go to college.

Meeting Days this semester:

Fri., Aug. 30th in Houston 225 from 3:30-5pm.

Fri., Sept. 13th in Houston 225 from 3:30-5pm.

Fri., Sept. 27th in Houston 225 from 3:30-5pm.

Fri., Oct. 25th in Houston 225 from 3:30-5pm.

Fri., Nov. 8th in Houston 225 from 3:30-5pm.

Fri., Nov. 22nd in Houston 225 from 3:30-5pm.

Fri., Dec. 6th in Houston 225 from 3:30-5pm.
