Student View Report shows CMU running counter to national and statewide trends in higher education
Colorado Mesa University is making significant strides in enhancing its brand recognition and reputation, according to a recent survey by Student Insights. In a year that saw peer institutions facing challenges with interest declines, CMU recorded a substantial increase in statewide awareness and favorability scores, achieving its highest ever mark in more than a decade of participation in the survey.
In addition to brand favorability and awareness increases, consideration and application rates are also on the rise. With a 4% increase in 2024, the university is seeing more cross-applications with flagship institutions like CU Boulder and Colorado State University. CMU’s statewide gains represent a shift in Colorado’s competitive landscape.
As CMU continues to build on this momentum, the future looks bright for both the university and its growing body of prospective students.
