- Have been previously present in Colorado for atleast 12 consecutive months before enrolling at CMU
- Applicant MUST be a graduate from a Mesa County Valley School (District 51) with a minimum 2.0 Cumulative GPA
- Priority given to students who are First Generation
- Complete the FAFSA by March 1st
- Meet financial eligibility requirement
- Enroll as a full-time student each semester (12 or more credits)
- Currently Declared in a approved program within the:
- Davis School of Business
- Health Sciences
- Earn a 2.0 cumulative GPA at CMU
- Is actively taking courses towards that programs completion
- Each Semester you must check in at least two times:
- Meet once a semester with your Academic Advisor or IRIS Advisor, listed in DegreeWorks within MAVZone, to create a course plan and discuss course registration to ensure you stay on track with your graduation plan.
- Meet once a semester with your IRIS Advisor or the COSI Scholarship Team to complete to check-in on your progress or discuss any questions you may have
- Attend two Career based COSI Scholars Event each semester (e.g. Career Services or Financial Aid Workshop, CMU resources, community resources, etc.)
- Freshman: Complete UNIV 100, 101, Early Start, New MAV Days or something similar
- Seniors: Participate in an exit/transition planning workshop or Meet 1:1 with an advisor first semester of senior year regarding transition and graduation requirements and preparation
