CMU’s University Center is one of the premier event venues in Grand Junction, featuring over 20,000 square feet of indoor event space and many options for outdoor events. It is home to the 8,500-square-foot Meyer Ballroom, scenic outdoor patio and six meeting rooms. All are available for your meeting, conference or entertainment event. Ballroom dimensions: 94’ x 87’; Ceiling 21’6”. The 8,500-square-foot Meyer Ballroom can accommodate up to 500 individuals, most commonly used for banquets, conferences, weddings and more! The partition walls divide the ballroom into full, half, or quarter zones, allowing the space to be tailored to the appropriate size for each event. An additional partition wall opens to the UC Pre-Function Lounge and Terrace with stunning views of CMU's campus and Uncompahgre Mountains.
Ballroom spaces are equipped with tables, chairs, and staging. Built in LCD projectors and screens, full spectrum speaker system, wired and wireless microphones, HDMI inputs and more.

Add comfort to your event with our 2nd floor Pre-Function Lounge area right next to the action in the ballroom. Enjoy the floor to ceiling windows overlooking the UC Terrace and campus with an LCD projector and screen, built in speaker system, and adjustable lighting available. This is the perfect space for a cocktail hour, bar service, or check-in. Our Fireside Lounge on the 1st floor of the UC is also available for intimate gatherings over Starbucks.

The University Center house five meeting rooms equipped with a PC computer station, LCD projector and screen, and in ceiling speaker system. All meeting rooms can support hybrid or virtual meeting software. Pick between our multiple sized rooms to ensure your meeting is in the most comfortable space, or use multiple rooms for break out sessions during your conference.
