ITL - Graduate Certificates & Master of Arts in Education

Admission Window for Initial Licensure:
January 1st - May 15th
  • March 15th is the preferred deadline for submitting applications* to the Post-Baccalaureate Initial Teacher Licensure Program for field placement.
  • The ITL Graduate Certificate/Licensure Programs are summer-only admission programs.
  • Admission to ITL GC programs close after June 1st until the following year.
  • To continue on to the Master's of Arts in Education after completion of the ITL Graduate Certificate, obtain the MA application forms by contacting [email protected].

*Prior to applying to the program, students must have a transcript evaluation to determine if leveling courses are required. Send unofficial copies of your transcripts to [email protected] with a request to be evaluated for your desired licensure level: (1) Elementary, (2) K12 PE, and/or (3) Secondary for (specify) English, Biology, Math, Social Studies and/or Spanish.
