Each quarter of the academic year Colorado Mesa University and Alpine Bank honor two students from each Middle School and High School in District 51 for excellence in school. Winners and their families are invited to an awards banquet at the university and receive a plaque along with their recognition. Students will also receive a $500 scholarship from Alpine Bank if they choose to pursue higher education at Colorado Mesa University.
