CMU MSOT Program Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity Statement
The Colorado Mesa University's Master of Science in Occupational Therapy program believes that diversity, inclusion, and equity are integral to our mission and vision. We are committed to recruiting, retaining, and supporting a diverse student body, staff, and faculty. We are committed to providing and promoting educational resources for our students, staff, and faculty. (For CMU's D&I resources, see: https://www.coloradomesa.edu/belonging/index.html).
The organization SOTA (Student Occupational Therapy Association) club is a non-profit organization that promotes collaboration and networking among students and faculty across disciplines within the Colorado Mesa University community. SOTA provides opportunities for students to develop leadership, professional, and ethical skills relevant to the field of occupational therapy while supporting community engagement through service, advocacy, and educational outreach. Aside from coordinating community service opportunities, organizing and promoting service events that engage members with local or national causes, our SOTA club officers are in place to ensure that service aligns with the mission and values of SOTA and the occupational therapy profession.
