Technical Certificate
This program can be completed in two semesters and provides training in essential employment skills such as gas metal arc and shielded metal welding, oxyfuel and plasma cutting, print reading, applied math and safety. Students in this program receive over 300 hours of instruction in the new welding lab on the CMU Montrose campus.
This certificate is a springboard for Western Colorado Community College’s (WCCC) associate degree in machining technology or CMU’s bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
