Colorado Mesa University offers the largest music department between Denver and the Salt Lake region. Studies in music theory, history, literature, ensemble performance, and one on one applied study with a professor give students a strong foundation on which to build a successful career in music. The music department is located in the Moss Performing Arts Center, which houses a 288-seat Recital Hall, 588-seat theater, two large rehearsal halls, 13 faculty studios, a piano/technology lab with 16 stations, as well as classrooms and practice rooms.
The music program at Colorado Mesa University aims to prepare students as a performer or teacher, a professional in the music industry, or as the basis to other studies.
