437CO is CMU's art gallery in downtown Grand Junction. The gallery features CMU senior student work as well as national and international guest artist work. Gallery admission is free and all receptions and artist events are free and open to the public.

The CMU 437CO Art Gallery is pleased to announce our newest exhibition Anatomy of Nature by Katie Caron. Katie Caron is a Director and Department Chair for the Art & Design Center at Arapahoe Community College. Caron's work has been shown nationally including the Denver Art Museum, Santa Fe Art Institute, Meow Wolf, and Redline Art Space to name just a few. Caron's ceramic works are influenced by the mysterious shapes and variety of textures in the natural world.
Stop by Monday, January 27, 2025 - Friday, February 28, 2025, to see this exhibition! The opening reception will be February 7, 2025, 5:00-8:00pm. Artist talk is at 5:30 on opening night. We hope to see you there!
BFA Candidate Senior Show, March 2025
We are excited to announce the first show in this spring's lineup of amazing graduating seniors. The March exhibit will showcase the work of Kaitlyn Cushing, Anna Dunn, Angela Hendricks, Kylee Schadegg, and Tanner Stull.
Kaitlyn Cushing is a ceramic artist who takes inspiration from the microscopic patterns found in nature and turns them into beautiful works of functional and sculptural art.
Anna Dunn is a 2D artist who stimulates the imagination by weaving stories using odd creatures within fantastical worlds.
Angela Hendricks is a 2D artist whose work pushes viewers to experience complex emotions through the use of bright colors and the void-like black often found in her work.
Kylee Schadegg is a ceramic artist focused on exploring the relationship between humanity and the natural world through delicate and sculptural functional ware.
Tanner Stull is a mixed-media artist whose work is "pushing ideas out of the traditional form to show the liminal connection between the physical and emotional forms of compression and restriction."
