Current Exhibition

The CMU 437CO Art Gallery is pleased to announce our newest show, Humanity Creating Reality, with the first of our 2026 Senior BFA candidates Halley Loras, Nick Beutz, Abby Norfolk, Joy Wollin, & Heather McNabb.

This exhibit features five Colorado Mesa University studio art seniors whose work pauses time through motion, character, form and symbol.  Together, they ask what it means to be human right now, moving between observation and imagination.

Nick Beutz's photography documents authentic, real-life moments, capturing motion and space as organized chaos.

Abby Norfolk's artwork creates surreal still moments that reflect her view of the shifting bond between humans and animals.

Halley Loras' ilustrations build characters and worlds that celebrate femininity, self-confidence, and orientation with clarity and pride.

Heather McNabb's sculptures use form as her voice, shaping self-reflection into objects meant for conversation and connection.

Joy Wollin's artwork crafts delicate natural forms that explore memento mori, inviting quiet personal reflection on time, mortality, and impermanence.

Stop by Monday, March 2nd, 2026 - Thursday, March 26th, 2026, to see this exhibition! The show will have an opening reception on Friday, March 13th, 2026, 5:00-8:00 pm. Artists will spealk at 5:30. We hope to see you there!
