Employers and employees alike prepare for the second annual Grand Valley Career & Job Fair
Mesa County Workforce Center and Colorado Mesa University are teaming up to serve Western Colorado by connecting qualified candidates to employers in need at the second annual Grand Valley Career & Job Fair. The collaboration allows employers to meet applicants on the spot, saving valuable time and simplifying the hiring process. At the same time, job seekers get to view an assortment of employment opportunities and meet many of the hiring managers in person.
“Every spring, over a thousand CMU graduates prepare to walk across the stage to receive their diploma. Most of those students go directly into the workforce. When you take those recent graduates plus our alumni network, employers are sure to find the right person or people for the job,” said CMU Director of Career Services Sadye Saad.
With nearly 100 employers attending, job seekers will have a wide variety of full and part-time options to choose from. Anyone looking for a job is welcome to attend. Entertainment will be provided as well as an array of local food truck options.
