Remarkable accomplishments are happening every day on the Colorado Mesa University and Western Colorado Community College campuses— from faculty instruction and research, to student projects and community involvement. CMUnow is a monthly segment of the KAFM Community Affairs hour, where we interview faculty, athletic coaches and students to keep you up to date on all things CMU and WCCC.
The first half of the show features Resident Assistant (RA) and current student Elisabeth Henry. Henry is transfer student in her second year as an RA. She reflects on her reasons for choosing to be an RA, talks about some of the best moments that have happened despite the pandemic and describes what she is most excited for in the future as a CMU student.
The second half of the show is a discussion between co-hosts Katlin Birdsall and David Ludlam on the new Center for Reflection, which opens this spring. They discuss why CMU is building the non-denominational, interfaith Center for Reflection, and what students are looking forward to the most about the new space on campus.
Tune in to KAFM community radio at 88.1 on the second Tuesday of every month from 12-12:30pm to listen to the CMUnow show. To listen to past podcasts, including special editions, visit CMUnow on Spotify.
