"Being in the band is a huge responsibility as we set the tone for pride around the campus of Colorado Mesa University... especially on game days. It is well worth the time and effort that it takes. I love being a part of this band and I proudly tell everyone I know that I’m a member of the Maverick Stampede!” The band has helped me grow not only musically, but as a person and a leader. Go Mavs!"
