There are a few different ways you can pay your bill at CMU. You can pay with cash or check in-person only. You can also pay via web check (from your checking or savings account) or your debit/credit card through your ePay account.
Paying with ePay
In ePay, you can make a payment with a web check (from your checking or savings account), debit card, or credit card. There are options to pay immediately by having your payment transferred from your checking or savings account, or you may schedule future payments.
Web Check Payments are free; there is no service charge for this type of payment (U.S. Accounts Only).
There is a 2.95% (Non-refundable) PayPath Processing Service Fee, a third party credit card service, for credit/debit card payments.
-
Adding a bank account to your Payment Profile (option 1)
If you are planning to pay with your checking or savings account, you will need to add that account to your “Payment Profile” on the right-hand column before initiating the payment.
-
Paying with a debit/credit card (option 2)
When making a payment online with your Visa, Master Card, Discover, or American Express credit card, a 2.95% service fee will be applied.
-
Make a Payment
From ePay's home page, click on “Make Payment” (the red button under your balance). Choose how much you want to pay — your entire bill, or enter in a certain amount. Then, select the payment method you added to your profile to complete the payment. Afterwards, you should receive a payment confirmation and a receipt.
Check Payments
Check payments can either be accepted in person or mailed in.
-
Bringing checks in person
If a check is brought in person, it will be accepted at the Student Accounts window on the first floor of Lowell Heiny Hall, down the hall to the right.
-
Mailing checks

Cash Payments
Cash payments are only accepted at the Student Accounts window on the first floor of Lowell Heiny Hall, down the hall to the right.
