In-person and online courses do not cost the same amount. For online classes, tuition is priced differently and you are not required to pay the typical student fees associated with in-person classes.

Once you understand your student type (see below), you can to the correct CMU tuition table to see exact amounts of online vs. in-person classes. 

Student Types

Undergraduates: if you are pursuing a bachelor's degree (4-year degree) or an associate's degree (2-year degree). 

Graduates: if you have already completed your bachelor's degree and are now pursuing additional education. 

In-State: if you are considered a CO state resident for tuition purposes. 

Out-of-State: if you are not considered a CO state resident for tuition purposes. 

Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE)/Mountains & Plains (M&P) Tuition Programs: If you are from one of these select states this tuition program allows you to attend CMU at a discounted rate.
