Q&A: What is the registration process for first-time students?

First time students at CMU will be emailed an Enrollment form to complete. We will ask you to provide the following:

• Concurrent enrollment courses that you may have completed (college courses during high school)
• Test scores such as AP or IB test scores, and SAT/ACT scores if available. 
• Course preferences for some of the essential learning classes (although it’s not guaranteed that the specific class will be available),
• Time preferences, and times that you cannot take classes due to prior commitments such as sports and work. 

Based upon your major and the information we collect on this form, we will build your first semester’s schedule (this is the only semester that your schedule is built for you). Schedules will be released to you via email in the order that they are received.
