If you do not have a SSN and are an ASSET student, you can submit the Colorado Application for State Financial Aid (CASFA). This application will help CMU determine the amount of state aid you receive. 

You may be classified as an ASSET student if you:

  • Attended a Colorado high school for at least one year before graduation or have been physically present in Colorado for at least one year immediately preceding the date you completed a GED; and
  • Have been physically present in Colorado for at least 12 consecutive months before enrolling at CMU.
