Annual undergraduate loan limits are the maximum amount of money that can be awarded for a specific aid year. These apply to both dependent and independent students.

Graduate Loan Limits
Graduate loan limits vary by type. Students using graduate unsubsidized loans can borrow up to $20,500 a year with a lifetime limit of $138,000. Graduate PLUS loans are limited to the cost of attendance, there is no lifetime limit.
