Q&A: Do I have to accept the full amount for loans?

You can choose to take a lesser amount by choosing to "Modify" a loan instead of accepting the full amount.

1. Go to your Financial Aid Offers (Under MAVzone > My Account > Student Finance)
2. Click "Award Offer"
3. Navigate to the loan you'd like to accept and from the drop-down menu, select "Modify."
4. Add the amount of the loan you'd like to take- remember if you are modifying this amount in the Fall, the number you enter will be automatically split in half for Fall and Spring semesters.

If you have already accepted the full loan and would like to revise the amount, you can complete an Award Revision Form.
