A student who has completed more than 60 hours of
Essential Learning Course Hold (ES)
A student who has completed more than 75 hours of coursework can be registered for the appropriate ESSL 200 and ESSL 290 course.
MMR Immunization Records Needed (MI)
By Colorado law, a student must have proof of two measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR) shots. MMR Immunization records signed by a doctor's or appropriate health official or a positive titer test must be provided. For additional information, contact the Registrar's Office.
A student who has completed more than 60 hours of
Social Security Number Hold (SN)
CMU is required by the IRS to show proof that we are collecting social security numbers or making attempts to do so in order to comply with the IRS regulation §1.605S-1(e)(4) which requires that institutions report student SSNs on the 1098-T tax form. Therefore, the student must either submit his/her SSN in MAVzone or complete an SSN submission waiver form. By choosing not to submit an SSN to CMU, the student may be subject to IRS fines that could be in excess of $100 per year.
A student who has stopped attending for one semester (excluding summer) will need to update key contact information. A student who sits out more than one semester must fill out a Returning Student Application.
VA Missing Documents Hold (VA)
A student must submit their DD-214, COE, or Official Joint Service Transcripts/Community College of the Air Force Transcripts. Documents cannot be emailed; please either drop off documents in person or upload it securely using the VA Hold Override eform. For additional questions on this hold, contact the Veterans Services Office.

Academic Advising by Dept (AA): Students are required to meet with their primary academi advisor. To remove the hold schedule an advising appointment with your primary department or partnership program advisor. After you have met with your academic advisor your hold will be removed.
Admissions Hold (AD): Student must contact the Admissions Office, 1175 Texas Avenue, 248-1875.
Advising Hold (AC): Student must contact IRIS, LHH 127, 248-1177.
Athletic Eligibility Hold (AE): This hold
COF College Opportunity Fund Hold (CO): Student must follow the instructions in the hold. For additional information, contact the Registrar's Office, LHH 449, 248-1555.
Concurrent Student Hold (CC): Student must contact the CMU Tech Student Services Office, 2508 Blichmann Avenue, 255-2670.
Extended Payment Plan Hold (EP): Student must contact Student Financial Counseling, LHH 108, 248-1873.
Financial Hold (FH): Student must contact IRIS, LHH 127, 248-1177.
GOALS Hold (GP): Students must set up an advising appointment with their Advisor in IRIS prior to registering for classes. The student must contact the IRIS Office, First Floor of Lowell Heiny Hall, 248-1177.
Incomplete File Hold (IC): Admissions documents have not been received. The student must contact the Admissions Office, 1175 Texas Avenue, 248-1875.
Provisional Baccalaureate Hold (PB): Students must set up an advising appointment with their Advisor in IRIS prior to registering for classes. The student must contact the IRIS Office, First Floor of Lowell Heiny Hall, 248-1177.
Selective Service Form Hold (SS): By Colorado law, a male student, age 18 or higher, must sign up for selective service at the Selective Service System website prior to enrolling in college. Email the confirmation PDF with your 700 number to Veteran Services at [email protected] to clear this hold. If you have any questions contact Veteran Services, in Houston Hall Room 121, 248-1739.
Student Accounts Hold (BO): Student must contact IRIS, LHH 127, 248-1177.
Undeclared Major Hold (UM): Student must see IRIS, LHH 127, 248-1177.
Wellness Plan Hold (WP): Student must contact the Diversity, Advocacy & Health Office, Located in The Student Wellness Center, 248-1366.
Veteran Services Hold (VS): Students using VA benefits cannot make a schedule change when this hold is active. Please submit a Course Drop/ Withdraw eform to make a schedule change. A School Certifying Official needs to adjust your semester certification with the VA whenever you make a schedule change.
