William Campbell teaches courses in Oxy-Fuel and Plasma Arc Cutting, Pipe Welding, Gas Metal Arc Welding/Flex Core Arc Welding, Shielded Metal Arc Welding and Welding Business Operations. He also oversees internships.
Campbell graduated Utah Valley University with an AAS in Welding Technology and a BAS in Technology Management. He graduated high school and received welding certifications from Weber Basin Job Corps in Ogden Utah.
Campbell is currently teaching: SMAW (stick welding), GMAW & FCAW (wire-feed welding), Introduction to Welding (multi processes), Welding Business Operations, Oxy-Fuel cutting and welding, PAC/CAG, Pipe Welding, Robotic Welding, Practical Applications, and Fabrication at CMU Tech.
His focus is on student success in both education and job placement. He wants to help students achieve the basic skills that are desired in the welding industry. He'll also help students with any specialized training that they may need. It's important for him to teach respect and civility within the classroom so that students can become successful in a variety of environments and he tries to do this by living as a good example.
Besides welding, Campbell's interests include art, writing, music, construction trades, machinery, manufacturing, rock-hounding, jewelry making, yoga, ethics and religious studies and most importantly, spending time with his loved ones.
