Austin Upchurch is a D.11-certified gas metal arc welding (GMAW) welder and robotics specialist. He holds current endorsements for single-wire GMAW and dual-wire GMAW. Upchurch works for one of the world's largest manufacturers of ski lifts and has two years of experience with robotics and GMAW. He also holds an Associate of Applied Science degree in Welding Technology from CMU Tech. Currently, he is studying for the Certified Welding Inspector exam. Upchurch believes that ambition towards creating the highest quality welds and career advancement are interconnected in shaping a strong welder.
