Andrew Armstrong began his career in construction trades in Pueblo, Colorado as a plumbing apprentice, where he obtained his residential plumbers license. Armstrong worked for Fred’s Plumbing in Pueblo, Colorado for 4 years, then came back to Grand Junction to obtain his master plumbers license at the age of 24. After working for many reputable plumbing companies in town, he was inclined to begin his own company: Genesis Plumbing & Hydronics.Since then, Armstrong has been involved in complete remodels, new residential and commercial plumbing, plumbing service and specializes in boiler hydronics (hot water heating systems). He has been involved in radiant heat, snow-melt systems, geothermal integration, solar integration and hot water production for car washes, wineries, cabins, mansions, commercial applications and residential buildings.Armstrong was invited to teach at CMU Tech beginning in the spring of 2024. He was also asked to help design a plumbing certificate course for the following year.Him and his wife have a 5 acre farm with a horse and a few cattle. Armstrong enjoys hunting, fly fishing, camping, foraging, 4-wheeling, ministering and spending time with great people.He knows what it is like to come from hard places and make something great of it! He believe it is possible for all of us, with the right motivation, desire and people in our lives to help.
