Kent Davenport teaches Pickleball class at the CMU Montrose Campus, aiming to help students develop the skills needed to play recreationally and in tournament settings. He holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from New Mexico State University and is a Certified Referee through USA Pickleball Referee Training. Davenport has officiated professional, senior professional and amateur matches at all levels over the past three years. His extensive experience on the court informs his teaching approach, emphasizing one-on-one instruction, immediate feedback and skill development to ensure each student gains confidence in their game.
