Presently as a full time lecturer at CMU Montrose Campus, Fran teaches Anatomy and Physiology 1, Anatomy and Physiology 2, Pathophysiology and Health and Wellness.
She is the former Director of Conditioning for Sports Med, an orthopedic physician-owned fitness and training center in the Midwest. Krumlauf has instructed nursing staffs at multiple hospitals within the Chicagoland area, and was selected to the Midwest Regional Standards Board by Reebok, Int. Ltd., to lead in setting the standards and teaching guidelines for the fitness industry.
As the Corporate Health and Wellness Director for ServiceMaster Corporation for the United States and Japan, Krumlauf supervised all executive medical clearances, organized and established a bi-annual wellness and health symposium for all corporate employees, and presented lectures nationally and to an international contingent from Japan. Her articles have been published in Suburban Life Fit Magazine, as well as Telluride Style Magazine, Bush Publications.
Krumlauf has owned and operated her company Klass Konditioning since 1989. It is registered in both Illinois and Colorado. Her company focus is on presentations, lectures, and seminars. She was an initial educator/training contact for the American Council on Exercise Personal Training Certificate testing program, and has presented CEC accredited workshops for ACE certified participants.
A professional member of the ACSM and AMAA, Krumlauf continues to attend ACSM meetings and lectures on evidence-based research topics.
Her true love of the San Juan Mountains and the Montrose community have returned her to live in Montrose once again.
