Andrew began his higher-education studies right here at Colorado Mesa at the Montrose campus. He completed a Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics at CMU. His love for mathematics, in particular for teaching and explaining mathematics, led him to pursue a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) in Mathematics from the University of Hong Kong. He spent some time teaching mathematics at a high school in Hong Kong before the desire to study more mathematics himself led him to the University of Oregon where he completed a BS followed by a PhD in mathematics.
