About Me
Aloha! Originally from Kailua, Hawaii, I graduated from Moanalua High School and pursued higher education at Colorado Mesa University starting in Fall 2012. I graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Sport Management in 2016 and after a small break returned to Grand Junction to pursue a Master of Science in Sport Management, completing that degree in May 2022. During my undergraduate career I was a student-athlete on the volleyball and beach volleyball teams. I dedicated summers working at The Maverick Store and as an orientation leader with the Admissions Office.
Favorite thing about Grand Junction
Thousands of miles away from the island, Grand Junction has become a second home. I like the small town feel, the warmer weather and that most everything is within close proximity. The surrounding areas offer a wide variety of activities from floating the river, hiking the monument, going snowboarding at Powderhorn on the Grand Mesa or wine tasting in Palisade. The Western Slope offers a little bit of everything. I never get tired of experiencing the seasons and taking in the beautiful scenery.
